Ukraine accepts US proposal for 30-day ceasefire in Jeddah, US resumes aid

The US and Ukrainian delegations said on March 11, after talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, that Ukraine is ready to accept a US proposal for an immediate interim 30-day ceasefire, which could be extended by mutual agreement, provided Russia also accepts it.
According to the joint statement, the US will immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine. The US delegation was led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and adviser Mike Waltz, and the Ukrainian one by presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
End of the pause
Washington suspended military aid to Ukraine on March 3 and intelligence sharing a few days later, after the Oval Office row. The sides also agreed to conclude an agreement on Ukraine's critical minerals as soon as possible.
