Ukrainian drones hit major Russian arsenal in Toropets, explosions register as tremors

Ukrainian drones attacked the 107th arsenal of the Russian military's Main Missile and Artillery Directorate near the town of Toropets in Tver Oblast on the night of September 18, triggering a series of powerful explosions and a fire visible for kilometres. Seismic stations recorded tremors caused by the detonations.
Tver governor Igor Rudenya said the fire broke out after debris from a downed drone fell and that some residents of Toropets had been evacuated. Russia's defence ministry said 54 drones were shot down over several regions that night, without mentioning the arsenal.
What was destroyed
A source in Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) told Reuters that Iskander and Tochka-U missiles, guided aerial bombs and artillery ammunition were stored at the arsenal. Russian authorities did not comment on the claims, and an independent damage assessment is not possible.
