Election commission declares final results: Students' List wins 140 of 250 seats, SNS 103

Serbia's Republic Election Commission on the evening of November 5 declared the final results of the October 25 snap parliamentary election: the Students' List won 140 of 250 seats, Aleksandar Vučić's Serbian Progressive Party 103 and minority parties seven, AP reports.
That confirms the estimate Vučić gave on election night, when he conceded defeat and said the Students' List would have "between 135 and 140 seats". The Students' List has an absolute majority and can elect a government on its own.
What comes next
The new National Assembly must hold its constituent session within 30 days of the declaration. Once mandates are confirmed, consultations with the president and the nomination of a prime minister-designate follow.
