SpaceX flew the 700th Falcon 9 from Vandenberg in California at 04:04 UTC on October 31, Spaceflight Now reports. The Starlink 15-18 mission carried 27 Starlink V2 Mini satellites.

First stage B1093 flew for the 18th time and landed on a droneship, the 675th Falcon booster landing overall. It was the company's 11th orbital launch of October.

The pace slows

SpaceX's 365-day launch count fell below 150 on October 27 for the first time since July 2025; the peak was 171 in December 2025. The company is shifting more resources to Starship. "The rate at which we launch Starship will increase dramatically as we solve rapid and complete reusability," Elon Musk said on the quarterly earnings call, Spaceflight Now reports.
