United Launch Alliance confirmed on October 28 that Vulcan will fly again no earlier than November 13 from SLC-41 in Florida, New Space Economy reports. The LV-01 flight will carry 40 Amazon Leo satellites, formerly known as Kuiper.

Vulcan has been grounded since February 12, 2026, when a booster nozzle failed on the USSF-87 mission. The date still depends on Eastern Range approval.

Amazon's constellation

Amazon has flown 14 missions and has 396 satellites in orbit. It plans to start service before the end of 2026 and must complete the first-generation constellation by July 30, 2029 under US regulatory terms. The last Atlas V flight, on July 2, carried 29 Leo satellites.
