A night of drones: Moscow says it downed nearly 500 Ukrainian drones as Komyshuvakha death toll rises to 43

Russia's defence ministry says it shot down nearly 500 Ukrainian drones overnight into November 5, AP reports. Ryazan governor Pavel Malkov said more than 200 drones targeted the region and one person was wounded. Ukrainian officials said air defences shot down or suppressed 105 of 128 Russian drones.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said the confirmed death toll from Monday's Russian strike on Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region had risen to 43, with more than 30 people believed to be still under the rubble. Moscow-installed Luhansk leader Leonid Pasechnik claims a Ukrainian strike on a bus killed five and wounded 13.
Day two in Brussels
Ukraine's lead negotiator Rustem Umerov said talks were continuing for a second day at NATO headquarters, with the US, Britain, France, Germany, the EU, NATO, the World Bank and BlackRock taking part. "We separately discussed the threats from Russia to Ukraine and all of Europe," Umerov wrote.
