South Kordofan: at least five killed in shelling of Dilling after more than 21 killed near Kauda

At least five people, including a child, were killed in artillery shelling of residential areas of Dilling in South Kordofan, the Sudan Doctors Network said, accusing the rebel SPLM-N faction led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu.
Hours earlier, according to the same group, SPLM-N forces attacked the villages of Debi and Luweri near Kauda, killing more than 21 people. The network said the attacks targeted members of the Otoro tribe. The SPLM-N did not comment on the accusations.
The second front of Sudan's war
While world attention focuses on the conflict between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Darfur, Kordofan has become a key battlefield, with shifting alliances and besieged towns. Dilling and Kadugli have been under pressure for months, and humanitarian access is limited.
