Moscow: Armenia could lose its CSTO voting rights as early as next week

The Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) could vote next week to temporarily suspend Armenia's voting rights, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Pankin told TASS, as reported by Azerbaijan's APA agency. He said Yerevan has not paid its dues for more than two years.
Armenia froze its participation in the CSTO back in 2024, after concluding the alliance had failed to help it during the conflict with Azerbaijan, and has since turned increasingly towards the West.
Georgia and Azerbaijan
Georgian parliamentary committees today take up a ruling-party bill to cut the deadline for final election results from 26 to 15 days and scrap the mandatory recount at five polling stations, JAMnews reports. Russia has declared the opposition party Droa an "undesirable organisation".
Azerbaijan's SOCAR is buying stakes in US gas assets from Comstock for $1.65 billion, and Turkish President Erdoğan visits Baku on November 8 for Victory Day.
